Re: tires, I did get some cheap Sumotomo..something with the wheels, but I had the best luck with Michilin
Pilots, think they run about $500-600 for the front two and probably almost 800 for the rears...

Anybody got better ideas/luck with tires? Sizes now at 215/45-17 front, 255/45-17 rear.

local place just quoted 1200 out the door, with included alignment.... they would do the alignment any time within 6 months so settling of suspension would not be issue...

Jeff and Meggan like 928s he always has and has bought and sold a few over the years. None are in these first 8 episodes however just a couple 911s and speedster replica.....

215 sounds too narrow in the front, boxster wheels?

Prices will go up when demand exceeds supply. A hint to that will be people actually restoring cars.

Google on the 356 says total worldwide 76k, guesses around 15k remaining, which doesn't seem all that rare, just plenty of demand.
