New baby's home
My '90 GT is no longer alone!
Just saved from parting out this '81 928 S, passenger side body crush but no dammages to the frame.
Let the party begins, the project is to drive her back on the road, with a OB look as long as I can afford it : telephone wheels, no strip rubbers, no spoilers, the flawless vintage shape!
Wife is very happy too!!!
Cheers,
Michel

Thanks MjRocket!
Fortunately, I've found a wrecked '81 S from which I can pick some usefull parts, the rest will be cleaned and sold (or exchanged) according to the project I have.
More to come soon...
Cheers,
Michel

She gets the other one?
You now have a project to keep you home?
You now have a project to keep you out of the house (and in the shop)?
MOST wives aren't happy to see a "junk car" or two get dragged into the driveway.
Does she have a sister?

Hi Joe!
As claims the "mrgreen" smiley at the end of the sentence, my wife was not very kind on this new project...
The precise words were "Don't expect to get another 928, no way."
Looks like she was wrong, and that I came across the "really thin line between hobby and mental illness" as one of you guys sign his posts.
May be next step will be a white van and a red cross in front of my house, and two solid guys chiming in for me...
Cheers,
Michel

P.S. I spend few months in Kenosha, WI. good memories from there!

2 cars to make one, sounds familiar. Have fun with your build Michel. You missed a great dinner at Le Train Bleu in Paris last Sept where we met up with Phillipe. I am sure you enjoyed hearing the fascinating stories of that epic trip: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-calcutta.html

Hi Tony!
You just can't figure how sad I feel thinking that I didn't make it while were in Paris...
The best part : I've just heard today that I will be inviting some customers to have a dinner at... Le Train Bleu this fall!
I really hope you're about to come visit us again!
Cheers,
Michel
