Whatever it is, it looks like you've got some wiring to do.

If I could fix my old 2005 Maserati GS coupe wiring issues I will make this nightmare look like new again.

Nice looking car.

You should resize your pictures for easier viewing.

That twin-distributor setup and K-Jet fuel system that I see says that this should be the 300 HP Euro motor.

Confirm that my chacking the engine model - should be a M28-11 or M28-12

Engine number is on the top of the block under the upper radiator hose.

Not sure about the exhaust tips or custom engine wiring but, otherwise, that looks like a slick car!

Carl,

Please actually read the thread. He has stated the block doesn't have a number.

Additionally, that is NOT k-jet.
K-jet (also known as CIS) never came with dual distributors.
Only LH jetronic came with twin distributors.

Oh GEEZ - my bad - I cant believe I missed the fuel rails. My bad. Going too fast..

You are right - that should make it the 4.7L 310 HP LH-Jet 16v motor (if it hasnt been otherwise molested).

If the block has no numbers on it, that usually indicates it is a replacement motor in the car, ordered as a spare direct from Porsche. They came with no engine numbers stamped into them.

Yes, we make that engine wiring harness.

We can also make that injector harness if I had a good core to use as a sample. We keep samples of most, but I don't have that particular one. The WSM gives us the schematics, color and gauge of the wire, but I need a sample to get the lengths right.

No sun roof?

A Bureau of Automotive Repair sticker is what you get in Calif after a DMV referee station does "special" inspection. It goes on the door jamb and tells smog inspection places to use its info instead of whatever might be standard. Import sticker with VIN would be in the same area.

Are you sure the block has no ID? Should be on a flat spot below the hose that goes to the radiator.

I'm sure the number has been removed, The engine is really starting to look correct, Quick question. I'm fixing many of the Vinne-bag-of-Donut wiring "fixs" but I'm not sure what G-Terminal and WK terminal mean. Example for the oil pressure switch I understand that the 14 pin terminal 2 is a blue/black wire called terminal WK and the other lead is terminal G ( Blue/white strip). Does the G wire mean ground? The reason I'm asking is if I ground one of the two connectors from the OP switch to the engine my test light lights up. So wouldn't that be the Ground or were the G wire goes to?

Its the "W" on the OP switch that if connected to the test light and grounded to the engine will then light. So it seems the WK is the ground......at least I hope so
