Default Brief Introduction

Have been on this forum for quite some time. I think it is time to do a brief introduction of my affair with 928.
I bought this silver 89' S4 in April 2011 through a friend of my cousin. And to my surprise it was later featured in two issues of local car magazine. The previous owner must have connection with media. The car was in good running condition and was well taken care of. I then decided to repaint it in July 2012 and had it back in November 2012.

Actually this is not my first 928. I owned a 84' S2 back in 1988 when I was still living in Vancouver ,Canada. That car was originally light metallic blue but was later on repainted to Veilchenblau metallic . That car was sold in 1996 right before I move back to Hong Kong. So after 15 years , I felt like home when I was back in the driver seat of a 928. And repaint it back to the very same colour seemed like a very logical choice for me. So basically this is my 928 story.

Welcome. I noticed that your 928 does not have the extended wheel flares typical of Asian-market vehicals. How did that get by import authorities?

Welcome! I love that purple, what is that color?

Is that a Supra MKIII N/A in one of those shots? Nice!

Thank You all for the warm welcome.

It seems that Japan is the only market that requires wheel flares . I 've seen quite a few pictures of 928's that were from Japan had the front wheel flares. As far as Hong Kong market, I would imagine regulations should be pretty much the same as UK's. Well at least when 928's were still in Porsche show room.

A 93 talon was my first car. Followed by a fwd turbo laser then a awd eclipse that I put the laser motor in. Good memories!

Loving the color on your car!!!!
