LOL Chuck!
What I've been saying is we arrived where we are as a group by having consistency. We had 34 people at the last real breakfast. The first Saturday and everybody knows where we'll be: 928 Breakfast. If we lose the consistency, there is a really good possibility that we will lose the continuity and momentum that has taken almost a decade to build. The breakfast allows even the casual fan come by and mingle and gain some knowledge or insight or hint about the car from those who might know.
Not everybody wants to or can take a whole day to drive to "XXXXXXX" to have a lunch or whatever. Those that do, GREAT!!. As a matter of fact, I feel sorry for folk that only get to drive their car on a weekend day.
Hell Chuck, I even feel sorry for you, since you drive your car so little.

Cool, we'll not go with a lunch since only a few of us have a desire to do so. Not a big worry but a few of us were wanting to spice it up and have a later time so others could show up. No sweat. My wife hasn't been able to make a single gathering in two years because of ballet and kid stuff. Not everyone can do the 0 dark thirty meets.

You know I just love given you $##T back Johnny! I love getting you outta the woodwork...
Totally agree that we've gained momentum and that's a good thing, but one weekend will NOT change that.
BTW, don't worry, the Charlie Car gets driven every week...
Silver Bulit not so much...

Anything besides a breakfast basically shoots the whole day.
Sean, my wife doesn't make a whole bunch of these breakfasts either, but it's her choice.
BTW, Chuck, the sun is up more than 30 minutes before 8 o'clock these days.
And also: Thanks to Randy Kara for hosting this next breakfast GTG

Agree with "in addition to". When I joined local PCA they were having breakfasts same place, same time, same 1st Saturday. There were other events throughout the month and there were 40 to 40 active members that came to almost every event. Then they moved the board meeting to an evening during the weeks instead of just after the breakfast. Board members that always showed up started not showing and breakfast participation dropped to around 25-30 members. Then they got the bright idea to have the breakfasts at different venues around town for some variety. Oh boy, when that happened participation in EVERYTHING dropped to 4 to 10 members with some events only the event chair showing up.
A couple of members moved in from other PCA regions and made a comment on the moving breakfast and how their other region had gone through the same drop and recovered slowly by going back to a consistent monthly GTG.
And the board is still wondering just what it can do to get more participation.
Keeping at least one meeting place and time consistent is VERY VERY important!

Nobody is changing anything and I agree the Breakfast meeting is the must do every first Saturday in the month.
Even when we went to Waco we had a nice breakfast meeting in FT Worth prior to the trip.
Cars and Coffe is another example - we meet for Breakfast prior to going to the BMW parking lot.
If we do another drive - we will leave after the breakfast meeting.
That should work and keep all meetings consistant.
Just like Andrews - once Breakfast was over we would go and hang at Brad's shop.
Sean I am in for an afternoon session somewhere - just name a dated and time and we will pull it together.
