Sadly craftsman does not warrant thier torque wrenched more that 1 year. After that your out of luck. Husky has a nice one now that I use. Quality is like craftsman of years ago. As Wally said check two wrenches. I found the husky was dead on, craftsman was 10% off. After any use the wrenches were zeroed so not to have a memory and the craftsman was not used a whole lot. Still waiting to use my 4' 500# torque wrench on something.

Craftsman don't last that long. And some say even when new their not very accurate. I bought from these guys, Precision Instruments:

http://www.torqwrench.com/

They used to make torque wrenches for Snap-On until around 2003, now snap-on uses someone else, CDI maybe?

Precision Instruments wont sell you tools, you have to call them and ask for their vendors. When I bought my dial torque wrench from one of their vendors the price was actually $40 cheaper than the $220 price listed on Precision Instruments own website.

Yep, you've got a good wrench and are correct, CDI makes them now. We are lucky here in DFW as CDI has a center 4 miles from me. One of the techs there is a customer, makes for some great deals
