Hmm. I have a '91 airbag and a '94 944 618 217 02 airbag computer. Maybe if it doesn't sell, I'll..... Nah.

RE: '89 GT vs. '90 GT, I was holding out for an '89 when I was first in the market but none were available, so I 'settled' for this car. I still would have preferred an '89. There, I said it.

With respect to the steering wheel, I will say that (old bigass high powered 1st-gen airbags notwithstanding) I really prefer the contour/cross section of the rim on the '90 steering wheel vs. that of the '89 and earlier wheel. The airbag wheel is much more modern feeling, and much more comfortable to me. Never felt the need to upgrade to the 930 wheel, which isn't much different from the airbag wheel in terms of feel.

It's a joke but lost in translation. I've been a harcore 928 owner for almost 15 years and then last summer, picked up a '99 996 as a project car to fix. After getting it back on the road my tune towards the 911s, or at least the water cooled ones, completly changed.

Rob, looks like you will get your asking price for the car. Even if I decided not to get the car it still has my interest. Plus if it goes for way more than your 22K I will get to rub my wife's nose in it. No way will it stall out where it is.
GLWS.

Curious why you didn't replace the drivers out door seal when the rest of the car is so dang nice.

This is cause the lawnmower 911 owners are such bitches.

So true, Some 911 owners are just 911 Zombies.

Think Ebay is bad for getting your price, everyone looking to get a steal there imo. Miles no good for an auction, buyer needs to meet and talk to you to know what a great car it is.

Forums and The Registry and wait for the word to spread.
I already have too many autos at the moment but think it's a value because your a good Mechanic and really took care of it.
That has a value, don't give it away.
Probably will take a while though.

My first Porsche, bought new was a 71, 911T. It was "OK" not the best car I've ever owned, even back then. Mechanically it was great, but the interior was crap! Traded it on my Pantera, and never considered another Porsche till the 928. They're 10X's the car a 911 is.

Rob's car is exceptional, and it needs nothing. I wish it had been available last year, when I replaced my 87. Like Doc Brown pointed out it should be selling in the mid 30's.

John-

Do you have any feel for the batting average of people advertising 928's in Pano?

928 ads in PANO are pretty thin.

There an '89 GT for sale though ...

The lead time for Pano probably limits the number of adds since many people when they decide to sell want to move more quickly and E-bay, Craigslist are immediate listings.

Till June 15th. Been fun and all but the weekend traffic is getting annoying. Boo hoo, first world problem.
