Why do you say this? I prefer people who are not looking for investment Porsches to buy. That keeps the car at reasonable prices. I drives me bananas when people bitch how low the prices are. Screw you if you bought the car to try and make money with it. I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to, just stfu if you can't.

I have no desire to sell, so for me it's an academic discussion. I've owned my 911 for 15 years and expect the same to happen with my 928.
I think for a lot of people, rising prices are seen as an affirmation that they made a smart choice. Ego stroking, if you will...

condition condition condition PLUS low mileage is the key......
the reality is 928 owners drive them.....A LOT....so low mileage examples are quite rare.....honestly a 150k+ mileage 928 most likely runs better than a 20k mile example.....

I'd rather have a high mileage with records than a low mile w/o.
I've done head gasket jobs on 3 low mile cars that had no abuse except improper storage and took one 200k engine apart that the head gaskets looks dang near brand new.

Probably because it's what you do for a living. Don't want to be wrenching on your own, you just want to get in and drive!

Interesting video. I'm an old VW bug guy, so I like the early Pusches too. I once thought about getting a cheap 912 and stuffing a big built VW crate engine in it. It would blow the stock 912s off the road.
BTW, screw original.
