Hey James, thanks for turning us on to the show. It's cool, and it's one car show my wife can actually watch with me without rolling her eyes.
Stay cool, Ken pitdad30

Episode 8 the final for season one airs next Tuesday night but it will be rerun and rerun and rerun
CNBC needs shows to build an evening audience and they own this one !! Glad you enjoy it there are lots of things going on in the show THAT never make it to the screen but that is editing....
As is typical no real discussions have been made for a season two but Jeff, Megg, Perry, Eric, are all under contract should CNBC opt for more shows. Because the cars are real and deals are made it takes a lot of effort to follow them around as they live their lives which makes it a fairly costly show to film.
So thanks for watching it is fun for me to turn on the TV and there they are in my living room. And what you see is how they really are......

It makes it hard because the producers/ director and editors are NOT car guys/people so they do not always give the cars the story which they deserve because they do not know what is important special about each car. The yellow 31 coupe for example got a complete new interior , the tri-power carbs, more correct shifter, fabricated sheet metal trunk floor and battery box (to replace the plywood) they extended the front frame with the correct horns which were boxed...and lots of other details which were never mentioned.
Jeff has a passion for all his cars and a vision of what it can become BEFORE he buys them. I like the fact that it shows that some of the cars do not sell right away, some cars he can not buy, weird stupid things happen to cars, and that most people WILL negotiate on price. I just made a deal for a 50s ford that started at asking $26 was listed then at $23,500 and the guy just accepted an offer of $20..... too bad they are not filming now

Hi Jim,
It's good to see that your active in the film industry , quite a difference from the days on Mira Loma, unit D !
My son Matt recently finished his b/a in film production up in UCSB , he is getting busy in the industry as well.
We will be returning to POC racing next year, when we finish up our next racer.
Are you still going out to the track with the gang ?
Best of luck !
Marty/ MSDS

Saw a guy on TV that looked and sounded like Jum Bailey!
Pomona episode, dude with a big stick standing with a dude stuffing 20 grand into each front pocket...
Googled it and found myself on this thread...
Congratulations Jim!
(Looking at your credits, I think we may want to know about Cougar Town!)

Season two which has already aired was 16 shows each 1/2 hour in length. They did over 40 deals with some interesting cars. Those episodes are being rerun often later at night. I was actually working on season two helping with the wrangling of the cars, coordinating repairs as well as seeking out potential cars to buy.
