The fog/driving light on the drivers side of my 89 is out. It's prolly a bulb, here's the problem. Looking at it from the front, both bottom philips screws are bad, the left side is broken off, but enough sticking out to grab with a pair of needle nose vice grips. On the right the philips head is rounded out.
Should I drill it out and try an easy out? Or any better suggestions?
Thanks
Joe

Once you drill/dremel off the head it will come out - only the head keeps it in. Once the lens cover is off you can probably grab it with pliers. Only unscrew the 4 corner screws the middle screws are the adjusters... they will break if you wind them all the way - they may break if you look at them wrong - or they may already be broken....
In the end with mine after trying to repair some broken originals - I snapped them all off down to the lens fixture part and JB welded folded spring steel to all of them - the flex plastic adjusters were another "B-Team" idea - stupid weak design and stupid materials. This is a flex application on a thin strip of material that becomes brittle with age... doh!
I'd also replace all the screws with SS versions and grease the captive nuts heavily

Thanks Guys! As Allan said: I only need to remove the head. I'll try the drill out first. If not I've got number drills with a 3 inch shank. I know they'll work. Just looking for a better idea.
