Stereo head units that look like they belong?

I don't use all the Becker Infotainment functions and luckily I didn't pay anywhere near 1500 for it. I was primarily interested in the MMC and MP3 functions. However, the phone (uses second SIM) and navigation are nice. It also has very basic internet (WAP) and e-mail functions, which are useless compared to an Iphone.
The wiring is quite complex (it can adapt volume to your speed e.g.) but it's not required to hook it all up for just the basic functions.

First my apologies for being off the OP.
Whitesands,
Wait a minute! That does not look like a Porsche clock. There are more than a few of us that would like to replace their digital clock with an analog one.
We want details!

Sure,

The clock is from the 80's UK Fords, plenty on UK eBay, if you haven't got rear A/C the installation is easier.

With this one you just make a circular motion anywhere on the screen to adjust volume.

I imagine that must be bigger than single DIN at the face end => fit issues for a 928.
An interesting concept but it takes built-in obsolescence to a rather new level.... oops seems its already obsolete

Neat idea, but even if the smartphone adapter/shoe were variable for iPhones models, Droids, etc and updated as new versions come out, the process of mounting or connecting a personal device to the head unit via a dongle is old technology these days. I really like the convenience that Bluetooth offers, whether it's listening to music, getting turn-by-turn directions, or making/receiving calls. The less I have to take my hands off the wheel or the shifter, the better.

No bluetooth, but IPod and Satellite connections, looks like it would look pretty decent in a 928. http://www.jensenheavyduty.com/products/stereos.html
