Is the display as yellow as it looks in your pic, Rick?
Why are you selling it, Kevin?
The CDR-220 has a small built-in amp (4 x 18w, but sounds better with an external. We just fit a Soundstream PN4.320D (60w x 4) in the GT, fits in the stock location and sounds great with Hans's front drivers.

There are aux-in connections in the back, shared with a external CD-changer (if fitted). A pigtail with RCA-jacks is readily available, as is a cable with a standard 3.2mm plug for MP3 players or an iPod connector.

An external bluetooth adapter can also be connected to the aux-in connection, we have a Blaupunkt BT adapter in the GT and a generic Motorola BT adapter in the S4. Both work well when they work, but are "fiddly". Both Apple and Android keep updating things and breaking bluetooth, and least for the generic adapters. Send a PM or email if you want details.

CDR-210 does not have aux in or anything. I upgraded to a radio with Sirius XM, aux in and such built in. And the (useless to me) Pandora input. Its the Alpine CDE-124SXM which looks ok in the car but the CDR-210 and 220 definitely look better. The sat radio is more important than the looks to me.

Jim pretty much answered everything J.P. He's the expert on these for sure. I wanted this radio since I saw his thread on it.

The display is more orange than my picture shows. I looks perfect in the 928.

Are any of the Dual units good or are they crap? The Sony from 2006 in mine is dated and too blingy.

I have a Dual 6720. Has SD card slot, BT phone and Sirius radio capable with USB and aux jack up front and dual RCA jacks in back.

Dispaly colors are adjustable and can match the yellow white of the other console lights. 4x55 watts internal AMP. Allot of head unit for $120.

I was thinking of putting this JVC KD-AVX77 in my GTS.

It's all touch screen and has several colors for buttons and text.

Looks nice though IMHO full touch screen is eye candy, you will miss the *****, trust me on this! Think about it, driving down the road, want to adjust volume... try doing that with a touch screen while keeping your eyes straight ahead!

I have a JVC KD-R820BT in my car, picked it up on Ebay for around $160. The volume **** and accents above/below the buttons are chrome but it's not excessive. I like it because you can change the colors and brightness of the buttons/display independently to suit your interior color scheme by adjusting the RGB mix. Mine is currently light blue and turns red when the headlights are on It also has ipod connectivity, via two usb ports (one is on a cable in the rear), Bluetooth thru an included usb chip and rear mic input, and 3 sets of RCA outputs for connection to amplifiers for front/rear/sub. Apparently you can add satellite radio and other goodies but I haven't looked into it. Only thing I could do without is the removable faceplate, that way they could have made us of all the available space on the front of the unit (notice the black trim around the faceplate).

Kyle - Bold! way too bold for me...

On the touchscreen - I for sure would miss the ****, pretty sure you will too. I dislike all-button interface schemes. I much prefer single multi-function rotary encoders, as long as the UI is smart and gives you the features you want. e.g. it should always quickly default back to volume control. And having a dedicated mute/pause button is nice too (there are always times you need to quickly shift attention).

Also while I wanted to have lots of input options - I really don't want the inputs on the front panel - too messy in use. I guess a hidden away SC card slot is OK, but not anything that needs a cable (USB/iPod/Aux in..)

I had a CR-220 first, but I just replaced it for a later model Becker. This is the Becker Infotainment. It is out of a Maserati Gransport 2007. I think the OEM version is called Online pro. I like the way the Beckers match the dashboard too. This model features a MMC reader, MP3, phone and nav.

I too am in the analog **** camp. I still haven't found a head unit (on my 3rd) that really fits the bill. I'd be hard pressed not to like that Becker.

Current setup is an Alpine with Ipod interface wheel. The album art work is kind of cool, but the **** doesn't always default to volume. Some functions/features are just too many clicks away. That and day time glare sometimes makes in nearly impossible to see.

Previous to that I had a Blaupunkt that played MP3 burned onto CD's which was cool at the time, I alway thought I modify the *****, but never got around to that.

Can you please tell more about this Becker Infotainment.

Wow, All I can find is a listing for remanufactured one on Ebay OEM to Maserati at $1500 (with a $500 core charge) ... that might be a little too nice for me right now.

I've never been a big ICE fan and don't use the radio much when I'm driving, if I do its more talk shows and news than music, I think my 928 came with a CD1 fitted, a PO removed that and had fitted a Denver cd147 and doesn't look out of place, it does all I need and I'm happy with it, its never going sound that good as the car still has the original speakers.

I will say like others, try and find a set with a big **** for the volume, so much easier to find and adjust without having to look or think.
