UGH! Just took the car for a ride to check it out as it hasn't been driven in a while and now I smell fuel coming from the rear by the fuel pump . I had a long day so I parked the car in the garage and will check it out tomorrow morning. If I can't find the problem or I can't fix it in one day with the parts I have on hand I guess I'll be showing up in the DD.

Michael et al,
Hope you have a great turn out and a great day. If anyone is going to use the fender roller tool, as I suggested to Michael earlier - just be VERY careful with the front fenders. Steel in the rear wheel wells is a LOT easier to bet the lip rolled (and wheel well flared if you want) than the Aluminum front fenders (I found the '89 I have to be much "tougher" to roll than the '87/88 fenders).
Have a GREAT day.

Gary,
I'm hoping I get to use it but I only want to do the rears as the fronts fit fine. Plus I've already run a bat along the inside to flatten the lip so hopefully it will be uneventful. I'll post some pics. Thanks for the heads-up!

Pete,
Thanks, but I found out that the fuel pump banjo fittings are leaking at the crush rings (easy fix). As soon as I figure out how to counter-hold the fuel pump to tighten the nipple I should be good to go. See you tomorrow.

I would love to have one of you guys that goes to this event to write it up and send me some pictures from it that I can put in The Shark Vibes, Newsletter of the OC. Any takers? Thanks.
