Thank you Roger for pushing Steve over the edge and finally making him and his wife come to a get together. I know Steve's wife, April, through work (one of our vendor's) and I found out some time ago that they had a 928 but it was not running. I kept inviting them but had no luck.

She e-mailed me today and I wanted to share what she wrote:

"In other news, we got our garage cleaned out last week and the 928 out of the garage! My husband, Steve has been doing a few things to it and thanks again for your recommendation for the 928 guy in Denton. They had parts available for it way faster than Zim’s. Steve spoke with the parts guy, (not Sean), I’m not sure who it was but Steve was definitely impressed and thankful. Currently the gas tank is out of it and I’m not quite sure everything he is doing with it. He invited Steve to a 928 breakfast tomorrow? Are you going to that and if so do you know where it is?

Thanks and have a nice day.

April"

So I e-mailed her back and let her know about rennlist and where the gathering was this Satruday. She confirmed back that they would attend.

I also sent her a link to the latest on-line PET. She was amazed that the entire car was laid out with pictures and part numbers for EVERY nut and bolt on the car.....

I suggest a tech session at their place where the car is in the near future if he can't get it running......

Don't know the car count yet but people wise I get 34. Not bad for a cold morning.

I got 23F, blowing snow and 1/2 mile visibility here in Detroit. All in all, I'd rather be in Arlington(and I'm no big fan of it anyway).

p.s. Your avatar is - unpleasant.
