Default Shift coupler bushing replacement

I'm replacing the shift coupler (near the transmission) bushings, and I have the coupler off but I'm not sure how to take the coupler apart. I get the impression from some posts that the pin presses out, but I put it on my press and it feels like I'm going to break it. Considering I've broken 2 parts with the press previously, I'd like to avoid a 3rd part. Is there anything I'm missing, or should I keep adding pressure?

Thanks

Don't forget a dab of locktite and check the bushing on top of the bell housing.
