Default Parting ways with my 928

Some of you know that my 90 GT has been down. But last summer ted came over and confirmed it, the motor is done. I have held on to the car with plans of repairing the GT engine, or, selling and looking for another.

Well that time has come to let it go. Life, finances, and time have brought me to the conclusion that its time to let it go and begin the search for another. The car is sold to somebody who has had 928's before and has plans to do it right. I will let them post the details here, but I'm sure we'll see a 'engine restoration" thread in the coming months.

I have enjoyed the friendships with the folks here and please don't read this a if I'm leaving, I will be around and I will have another 928. I will try to make the SITM and the trip to Hell Michigan.

I have been the lucky one who has been appointed caretaker of this very nice GT.

I know how hard it is to let things go, but you can visit her frequently.... lol

Yes there will be a thread on the resurrection starting this weekend when I start into it.

Between this and race car build, I will be VERY busy.

Looking forward to finding out exactly what happened to the engine. Seems weird so far.

Glad to see it went to a good home and the best of luck finding another one.

I heard she is happier when she gets blown. At least that's what I've heard...
