New diff sounds lot like PSD.

yup sounds like the same, but with more inputs, steering, brakes, etc.

I just hope they have the ability to put on a set lock percentage so that one can go have some fun hooning around

Even simple system like PSD knows when wheel is turned.

It works like PSD, but is light years smarter in control. The diff is transferring torque long before there is noticeable wheel slip. It's one guy's full time job to cal it, and then the stability control will also send commands to the diff to help with understeer/oversteer control.
