I pulled the controll boxes today in prepartion for install of the Porken S300s chips.
both boxes apeared to have been opened previously. The chips in both boxes appeared to be non standered. Tags on chips were hand written AUT Ignit and AUT Fuel. Think these have been repaired or rechiped?

I would guess AUTothority clones.
AFAIK, there's only one version for '85-'86.
All eBay S3 chips are copies of those.
Not well done, IMHO.
Might feel a bit more mid range power vs. stock, but tend to ping easily.
Stock WOT maps, so it can't dyno any higher HP than stock.
Stock rev limit.

Thanks Ken. I'm not sure these are the original brains as I'm the third or fourth owner.
I tested the PO and he said he hadn't chipped it but I know his teenage boy had been driving it for awhile. Hmm :-D , anyways I'll be swapping out those chips as soon as I receive them. Installed new fuel lines last night. Now just down to ignition wires and wait for the replacement headers. Then time to put it back in the car.
