John,

I'll keep making the calendars as long as I can sell most of them so I can at least get CLOSE to breaking even on them.

I just can't sell them here apparently or people get the panties in a wad and I get threatened with a ban! That is the only reason I have not brought it up. Despite the fact that any profits get donated to the local humane society. I guess we have many easily offended, dog/cat haters here on the 928 Forum. There was a guy on the 911 forum who sold his 911 calendar last year and didn't get banned (or even threatened with a ban). Oh well... Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Denny,

Printing is VERY expensive (even with help from my friends in the 928 hobby!) and when you factor in giving away a calendar to each model and the cost of the CD-ROM's for their pics and everything else that goes in to making a calendar that you would have to consider if you were actually going to make a living off of it, you would be lucky to make a profit at $20 each when printing 100 copies...

I do it for fun, and always have. Would be nice if it were seriously profitable, but it just isn't and like I said, it is not my living and I like to help the Humane Society when I can, this sometimes allows me to do that, at least a little bit.

James, I understand.

I was just poking fun at the irony of you using “breaking even” and “donating profits” in the “same breath”.

James, do you usually have any left over copies from previous years? I would be interested in purchasing them for Garage hangers.

I do have a few left overs from years past... I'd have to go back and look see how many. I let them go for less than my cost on the '11 or older at $5 each and for the '12 I have been selling them at my cost of $10 and of course the '13's are $20.

Let me know what you are looking for and how many and I'll see what I can come up with for you.

I took the liberty of misusing my personal top 13 from the Fikse-wheels photocontest to create my own Porsche calendar. Cost about EUR 15 excl p&p. Sorry if I breached some copyrights. It is only one calendar for personal use. But if anyone is interested...
