Hi All; I had occasion to contact a reseller and ask about 8" H4's, as mine (ex-Japan) are for Left Hand Traffic, and socially-irresponsible here in Canada. They checked with Porsche USA; answer was first "Yes", then "No", then "Yes". So, I ventilated the Visa and ordered them. They are nice pieces, but I have not installed them yet.
Auto Historians among the list probably recall that Bosch and Magneti-Marelli formed a partnership called "Automotive Lighting" a few years ago, in the Czech Republic. http://www.al-lighting.com. Somewhere along the way, (I am guessing, and I have my tinfoil hat on, so caveat/on) Bosch sold some of its NLA/Discontinued parts rights off to Automotive Lighting. Voila, some of these components are apparently being reproduced and are available through distributors who have access to Porsche USA.
When you search http://www.automotive-tradition.com there's a lot of arcane and conflicting information, some of which shows the Left Hand Traffic 8" H4 (Porsche P/N 928 631 102 01 / Bosch 0 301 900 701) and North-Am styled Sealed Beam (Porsche P/N 928 631 135 00 / Bosch 0 302 401 001) both NLA, and no reference to the 8" H4 for Right Hand Traffic. Careful with my P/N details above, they may be incorrect. The photo (below) is the only one you might want to rely on.
Anyway, here are the pictures. I got good pricing and good service (no affiliation) from Sid Gonzalez at Vertex in Miami in this regard.

Thanks for the info.
Oddly, Vertex shows two pieces with differing SKU's but the same part number. It's confusing.
http://www.vertexauto.com/listitems.aspx
(I question if this link will work. If not, search by Part Number - 928 631 101 03 - and they'll show up.)
I see ~$350 on the Vertex site. Did you get a better price?
