plastic interior 1/4 trim
While disassembling my 78 I found my rear interior 1/4 panels are plastic, not the presboard type material. Is this normal for early cars?

Wonder if there is a market for another Jerry product...molded plastic quarter panel shells, maybe reinforced with some webbing to stave off the warp. Seems tidier than trying to accurately wet/fiberglass.

Its a pretty big part to thermal form in one piece, it would be way better if it could be done in 3 pieces and rivetted together after shipping. Just sayin...

My door panels are not plastic, wonder if the dash is,aside from a couple cracks it is quite straight. Any reasoning as to why porsche changed from plastic to the board material?

I don't know. The VWs of the same years have the same crap try findins a late 70s VW Rabbit with a decent dashboard. Volvo and BMW were using the same stuff too. Could have been cost but i`m more thinking of maybe safety issues as the cardboard would just absorb shock in a crash where the plastic could have sharp edges that would cut and tear.
