Can anyone spot 2 irregularities among the pictures in this ad? Something was bugging me about the pics, and then it struck me. Clues later if nobody can spot them (and I'm not talking about the defroster vent trim).

Not sure where the sunroof switch would be on a 79. I know the rear wiper was not where it is in later cars.

 

You're warm....lack of a suroof switch got me started. Look at some of the other exterior features.

Differences among the photos?

 

Brian, you'll need to be more specific. This car has many irregularities in the pics.

 

The same car isn't in each of the pictures! The first picture has a car with no front airdam and no rear spoiler. The second to last picture is a car with both. Also, the pod is black while the interior is brown.

 

Bingo! The one with the spoilers also has a sunroof, while there is no switch for it on the interior shot.

The wiper swich is on the consol on the early cars; and no sunroof switch either. That part of the consol looks correct. also, the early cars did not have the arm rest cassette box.

black pod was standard on the early cars; also, that interior is camel, altho the leather seats are pretty dirty.
As to the spoiler, it's likely the same car, just with pics taken at different times, before and after the addition of the front spoiler.
The headlight pop up bar under the hood is badly rusted. Flood car maybe?

 

not sure about the sunroof - the angle of the roof/ roofline makes it hard to tell in many pictures. Could be a different car though.

 

where is the sunroof switch on the early cars?

 

Spoiler picture - looks like an S front bumper, and seats look dark brown as opposed to tan. This all could an optical illusion, or my ageing eyes Must...Stop...Looking...at...Pictures.

 

Somebody should go look at it. Might be worth asking price.
