Default Fog light lenses

As you can see from the photo the lenses on my fog lights have yellowed over the years. Since the car is off the road for the long Vermont winter I was thinking about addressing the yellowing. Has any one had any experience with any of the polishing products on the market for lenses, and are they worth the money and time. My car is a euro and replacement lenses are not inexpensive, but then again it is a 928 so that is to be expected.

Plastic ones are your driving lights. I just replaced mine yesterday. Not worth polishing. Got new ones from Sir Roger. Now polishing the glass on the fogs might be worth it.....

Love the license plate..... Wish I thought of that!

Ducman,

My car is a Euro S and the lights are different on the ROW cars. Where US cars have thier driving lights, the ROW cars have a Fog light and a driving light combo. The inner position where the US cars have thier fog light, ROW cars have a pencil beam driving that illuminates when the high beams are on. The lenses are different than US cars even the trim arround the lights is different. The reason I am asking about polishing is due to the cost of and limited supply of lenses.

Like all plastic lenses they will clear up with plastic polish, you will need to do it at least once per month.
That's why all the adds for headlight restore products, there is $ in consumables

As the outside lenses are glass, it is the inside plastic lenses that are yellowing. I just took the inside lenses off (not really sure what the inside diffuser is for).

Ducman, H011yw00d,

Thanks for the info will try to clean the inside plastic first and if it does not work I will take the plastic out.
