Well I tried the oven trick on my 83 cruise control and guess what.. It is now toast fur shure!! The tops of two capacitors popped right off. Another stupid idea. I read about doing this after seeing it one one of the posts here on RL. Dumb idea. I pulled the cc brain out of my 1988 924s to see if has the same part number It's the same 617127.00 Except is is preceededby 944 instead of 928. Upon opening the can the pc board looks different but the plug looks the same. The question is.. Will the 944 amp work in the 928. Thanks in advance
