Purpose of an injector pintle cap..
I may be swapping back in my 36lb injectors from the 60s, and giving up the ability to run E85...for now.
But Im missing 3 or 4 pintle caps on those.
As far as I can tell, they serve as a way to keep the Oring and injector neat with each other.
But since our injectors are held down by the upper rail, there is no...issue with not having the cap, because the injector cant be freely raised out of the manifold anyways.
I dont mind ordering new caps, just..they appear to serve no other purpose.

Support and protection only. Earlier injectors have a nice pointed nub that needs protection, the 4 hole injectors don't. I'd put them on to hold the spacer and o-ring. If they fall off once they are in the hole its not a big deal but I'd not like to be the one to put the rails back on and trying to get all the o-rings to stay in one spot.
