DFWers; Know this car? Are you bidding? If not, I'm going to try to grab it up.

Hoping for snow.
Ya know?
Well, I texted the seller a couple of times, and he's being recalcitrant so I guess I'll bid on it and see what I get if I win. I can always go over and do a PPI after bidding.

Doc, IMHO it is a good thing to establish a repore with the seller. The auction results will give him a more realistic idea of value.
I did the same with my 85 back in the spring. Very nice dialogue with the seller. Let him know I would be a buyer at $ xxxx. Continued conversation for
some time and then finally wished him GLWS. By summer
Had hey had contacted me

Sorry, fat fingers + phone= fail.
Anyway, I now own the car, at my price. The seller even trailered it 300 mileage for me.
You never know what might happen. Good luck

+1 Nice complete looking car. (superficial spoiler damage is meh, superficial)
+1 TX good state to buy in (good chances of low rust)
+1 TX lots of 928 support (someone knows this car)
+1 Good Model Year with some good options. ( I think that's a factory decal. 5 Speed cars are always in vogue.)
-1 Interior looks a little baked, (no dash pics) but not as bad as I've seen.
-1 Mileage probably high (suspension-clutch-timing belt/water pump?)
Ya if that's on Ebay you need to get a dialog going ASAP if you are serious. You could save the seller some Ebay fees as well.

Reserve auctions don't tell that much, many don't bid or bid what they would actually pay.
OTOH seller may not know that and be willing to take a real cash offer instead of fussing with ebay an fees.
