Default $25K Engine paper weight listed on Ebay

An interesting listing for a stroker engine that actually does not run, but is listed for more than a running GTS.

This should turn out well. I'd like to see how it's all put together and exactly what parts of it do not run? Compression numbers etc.

This forum is a treasure trove of 928 info. I wouldn't have jumped into the hobby without this resource. Thanks to everyone who contributes in a positive way. That being said, there is a price to pay for hanging out here. The agonistic behavior and petty back-biting really does detract from the overall experience.

I just wish there was a way to avoid these threads just by reading the title!

How is it harassing 928MS?? It's publicly stating his bad experience with them. Come on, the money you spend to make a stroker is no joke. I think people should understand that with the known oiling problems of the 928 motor, increasing the stroke/bore will only make these worse, however, you payed for a motor that should run correctly, ALOT of money in fact.

If this title doesn't scream, "RUN AWAY" to you, I don't know what would.

Like you would want 928MS to fix it after the tune up they did on this guys wallet!! I sure would like to see how you would act after getting screwed for over 30k. Man.. some people on this forum no sympathy for anybody!!

I gotta be brutally honest though.. definitely not shocked by the events that happened to him after the experience I had with this vendor!

At least the seller has some humor! lol

"928Motorsports built a similar engine for their own car they claim is the fastest 928 in the world. My 928 has been the slowest 928 in the world for the past two years it has spent in my garage trying to make this engine work."
