Default what are these wires?

they are all cut and coming from driver side near console. I can not find the connector for my power seat, so I assume that some of the wires are for that.

anyone know for sure? :

I think mostly from a hi fi system removed.

You will need the Morehouse CD with workshop manuals and electrical wiring diagrams to proceed much further.

The colors seem wrong for a seat plug. Peel back a little more of the tape to make sure the wires look as though they're original harness wires, and then post back here what colors (look for any stripes of other color), how many of each, and if they all seem the same gauge.

Seriously, IIRC, they feed a set of paint-dot colored sub harnesses under drivers seat associated with premium radio / hi fi. You may find hot red ones.

Picking thru this particular set of wires, if the harnesses they feed are already gone, is made difficult because of the lack of wire colors on 84 diagrams. The 85 diagrams might be more help. I've generally capped those wires.

I'm intrigued by what they might be so checked the 85 diagrams, but they don't shed any further light on the mystery either. I can't find any plug with that grouping of colors, or even two or three plugs adding up to that number of wires. Lots of browns along with other colors and striped colors, but no groupings of red and browns that I can see anywhere on cabin fittings and plugs.

they are 7 wires. 3 red 3 brown 1 is white. it appears as if another red one is there but cut short. one of the brown has a red stripe on it. one brown has a white stripe on it. I am thinking they are from the radio as well. There are also the 3 connectors with the paint dot s on them near the seat as well. these wires are not them. Maybe they are all from the radio. I have one of those faders by my ebrake.

I am wondering where the heck is my seat connector? Very weird. No sign of it at all. from looking at the seat, there are 6 plus on the connector for it. a row of 4, and a row of 2 on one single connector (black). can I just run power and ground to my seat to get it to work?
