Leather Seat Repair and Color

Leather Seat Repair and Color
I wanted to see what brands were recommended for seat repair and then changing the seat color from tan to black.
Will first need a kit to fix a very worn area that will require a patch of some sort.
And then a cleaner to prepare the leather. Last a Colorant, to change the seats to black. Was considering this brand for the 3rd step:

Any brands or suggestions appreciated.

I’m guessing the worn area is the driver’s side bolster? It can be patched from underneath and then filled to make it even and then dyed. Colorplus is a good, so is Leatherique. Leatherique has a page on how to prep and stuff here: http://www.leatherique.com/do_it_you...e_leather.html
But because you’re changing color on all seats (front and back), I’d invest in new leather and be done with it (Paul Champagne or Rob Budd). If you want to save $$, you could go with vinyl instead—this guy on e-bay has pretty incredible prices:

For ~$500 you could have front and back...

You might try a search across the whole Porsche forum instead of just the 928 forum.
I did that once and found a wealth of practical solutions to leather repair and coloring.
Put the search terms or phrases in quotation marks, that seems to help the results.

Here's a good link:

Searching rennlist in general as suggested above is an excellent idea.
