Probably, I corrected my post with the comment that I saw the non-op.

Yes. Figured with tons of '78 & '79 parts heading my way, I will have any necessary bits needed for this. My kids love convertibles and I have been thinking about an M3 vert or some other top down fun for next summer to cart them around in anyway. Deposit has been sent and the deal is done.

Are the phone dials in production yet? How much?

Not yet. Still prototyping. Price not set. They would look badass on this car, however.

Funny, because with these parts cars I purchased, I was looking closely at the original phone dials to see if it is possible to cut out the centers and have them welded into wider barrels. I had Lindsey racing do this with some 16x6 Fuchs a few years back for a 930 turbo and they make them into 17" in any width or offset using BBS barrels. Unfortunately, it does not appear that the same can be done with the dials.

^^^ it is possible, and has been done. Challenge now is finding wide 16" rubber.

I was thinking about changing 16s to 17s. That is the reason Lindsey does it with the Fuchs. Original 930s can get a max tire width of 245 on the factory 16x9" rears today. I was able to put 315s on my 17" Fuchs rears, although it seems that 17" tires are starting to diminish.

Nice score. Hope it's as good a deal as it looks!
