Another one bites the dust.
Cosmo Kramer is selling his boosted '85. I've seen this car in person and is a very good driver's car. Well sorted and maintained but I'm sure he'll chime in soon. Good luck with the sale Ted.

Yep sorry to say guys I am putting the beast up for sale. Going to be changing careers next year which is going to take up most of my time and resources for a bit and with having two kids aged 2 and 5 the 928 can't be part of the equation. I will miss it for sure, but I know when things get underway for me I will be back!
I cannot count the hours I have into this car. The supercharger is a modified FAST kit with a dedicated belt and tensioner. This car runs and drives like nothing has been touched (until you floor it) with smooth, linear response. It has never let me down once in 4 years, always started and even made a run to SITM after I supercharged it.
Once I get some decent interior pics I will put up a proper ad here.

Ok....Maybe the Mayan Calendar thing has some merit....
Imre's drivin' a six-banger and now Ted's selling out?
I'm heading for the bunker now......
For those who don't know, I'm seconding Imre's opinion. Really nice car.
I think my older boy's still got the buzz from the ride.....

Dude. That sucks.
Hope you won't be away for long.
I hate to say it but you might have better luck taking out the SC and selling the car and SC separately.
GLWTS and we'll talk to you soon.
Stay in touch!

back in '97 I sold my 911 for same reason, changing jobs, wife's car dying and needing replacement.
a little over a year later, finances were stable so started looking for another toy car. considered a few other kinds but eventually came back to wanting another 3.2 carerra.
the guy who bought my 911 got a newer turbo and was selling.
when I bought it and retured it to my garage, my wife looked at it and said, " well ... the bitch is back."
hope all goes well for you.

I contemplated taking the SC off, but it is a lot of work and really don't have that much time to do it. Thing is, the car runs so well with it on and the fueling is pretty much spot on that for the right buyer it is a great deal. I have removed most of the headaches associated with having a boosted car. Only stickler is with my tune it requires 93 octane, but up here 94 is readily available so it has never been an issue for me.

SIGH.. if it wasnt for Obama's THE RICH CAN PAY A LITTLE more taxes coming soon I would be all over that! And no, I am not rich, I am one of those business owners Romney spoke of that will get soaked by it on the business/personal tax side... <rant off>
