Just to compare paints. The 944 door was sprayed with glasurit 22 line single stage. The gm hood was sprayed with dupont b/c. both are "straight out of the gun", no wetsanding or buffing has been done yet. As you can probably tell, the glasurit single stage door has as much or more gloss than the b/c dupont. both were sprayed with the same equipment. Another uncomonly known fact is that paint has a higher gloss before sanding & buffing but doing so will make it have a deeper shine with more clarity.
