Default Where in Dallas did you pass emissions without rollers?

I've failed twice now and I'm frustrated. It's border line. Actually when they put it in test mode it passes

Sean recommended him

Quick Lube and Tune on FM 407

He doesn't put on the rollers, I had failed numerous and he got it passed first try and easily!

They are great people and I use them all the time. John is a hell of a guy and a local owning a local business.

Found out on my last trip that these stations have to spend $10's of thousands on equipment and for each inspection they do, all of the charged monies goes to the state. They get zero kick back on it. What a bummer for them. Buy a coke or something while you are there. I'll be sending them a nice Christmas card with a gift for all they've done for us.

Went there this morn and lured my wife to go with me by taking her to breakfast afterward.

Charlie Car passed with flying colors!!

John and Johnna are REALY nice folks. When I mentioned Sean and Roger, they said "Just how many 928s are there here in DFW??!!".

It was nice to go to a place that knew how to even drive the 928. The last few places I went to, they couldn't even figure out where the emergency brake was!!

This was the fanciest Kwik Lube i've ever seen... Granite countertops, flat screen TV, fancy coffee bar and a bathroom that looked like something at del frisco steak house... Johnna said they wanted to build a place that families could come and have a good experience and not be scared away by a nasty old gas station feel.

Never thought I'd say I had a "good" time getting my car inspected, as It is usually a friggin beat down. But I have to say it WAS a good experience.

Worth the trip if you live in DFW land. IT's right across from Roger's neighborhood so you can pick up/order your parts while you are at it.

John is a really great guy and knows and appreciates the issues with smog checks on cars like ours.

My van needed an inspection and it failed because the battery had been disconnected and it was throwing codes. Needed about 100 miles of driving to clear it before it would be eligible for the check again. Here in TX you get two weeks to take the car back for a free re-check. About 6 weeks later I finally had the miles and the time to take the van back. It passed and I knew I had to pay again - however John would not accept my $ - I love service like that it brings customers back again and again.

If you own a car in DFW and want a pleasant smog check experience come on out to Lantana and visit John's place.
