Thanks Maine!

I agree that it is a good thing to check and I really do appreciate the step by step advice.

I had the transmission fully serviced about 2 years/4K miles ago when I first bought the car. I don't think anyone but me wanted to buy the car because the shifting was really sluggish and made the performance pretty "doggy". After the tranny service the shifting was much improved and has really gotten better with every day of driving up until this hard shifting hiccup.

If you can, get liftbars ( http://liftbars.com/ ) to help facilitate raising the car.

Yep, I need a set of liftbars, but there are many other Porken products that I "need"...too many other needs around my house unfortunately!

Maybe if I win the lottery, or that rich uncle that I don't remember put me in his will....

Yeah I know, I'm there too right now.
Get her up, see if you can spot leak source, and we'll go from there.

Get the liftbars. If nothing else its great for doing the transmission and undercar maintainence that you will be doing.

I would also get a set of 3 ton and 6 ton jackstands, so you can get it on the 3 ton stands and then raise it up to the 6 ton height (I can get the car about 18-24 inches off the ground that way.
