thx alan...yes, my cheapo ebay remote entry brain has a left and a right circuit for turn signal flash...but, now you have me wondering if they're actually independent.... i'm trying to think my way through this...if i connect power to lights downstream from the fuse panel, i'm assuming i can just check for resistance across the leads from the keyless entry module. if there is no continuity, i don't have to worry about all turn signals flashing when i use my turn signal. it never occurred to me that those wires might actually be on the same circuit, but it is made in china...

I tried hooking up the turn signal flashers to my cheap KE module. Good news: All four turn signals flashed when I pressed the button. Bad news- However, when I went use my turn signal while driving it engaged all the flashers like my hazard was on. So I disconnected them as it would require further modification which I didn't want to get into.

i'm going to pull my hair out...

i followed the diagram on page 1 of this thread....yellow and yellow/black to ground, orange and orange/black to nowhere, white and white black to the green wire and yellow wires. I can only lock/unlock with the remote when the key is on. i see 4 wires to the lock motor...red/white, brown, yellow, and green. red/white has voltage when the key is on. i'm not sure if that's how the central locking is supposed to work....if i unlock the car with the key, it unlocks only that side...i assumed that it would open both sides...maybe not? i'm digging through the diagrams right now trying to figure out if the red/white should have power at all time.... in the meantime, if anyone can chime in with suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it (this 30 minute project has now burned about 6 hours...ugghh)

***looking at the wiring diagrams....relay IV (window regulator)....should that be connecting the motors to circuit 30 by default???

If you just want the keyless entry to work follow this. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-for-20-a.html It doesn’t apply to all the other options the system offers. The video on the wiring is here.

This is what i followed. As i said, all good with the key on. All bad without. I'm taking that yellow or green wires get their power switched from the red/white wire... which I believe is coming from relay IV. I just glanced pretty quickly and I might have it wrong but I thought that's what I saw. And it looks like 30 comes into the relay and should go out 87. And you know I didn't even check to see that it was the correct relay. I was doing too many things today...

You will need 2 diodes fed from your flash output of the KE with one to each side both anodes to flash module, a cathode to each turn signals .

What are you powering your KE with? that is likely the issue here. It needs always on power.

I found the problem. The relay on the left is worked has been in this car since I got it. I just never noticed that it was very close to what it was supposed to be but it wasn't quite right. No power to 87 with the key off. I replaced it with a new one and everything is perfect
