Anyone have a spare S4 injector retaining clip in their parts bin looking for a home? I discovered that one is missing today.

If you're missing one on your 1990 I wouldn't start it until its replaced!

Mike good catch. Follow Colins advice^^^^

NOTE once the clip falls off the injector is free to slide into the intake mounting area,
thus the fuel will then spray out of the now unoccupied injector mounting port in the fuel rail.

Any errant spark from a worn plug wire will neatly spark a fire

Thanks John. If you don't have one I'll get one on the way from Roger. No idea how long the clip has been missing. I pulled the intake today for new flappy bearings, throttle bearings, TB and side plate gaskets, paint, and will send the injectors to Witchhunter for cleaning. When I went to remove the clips I discovered that #5 was no where to be found.
