That's going to be a fun car--welcome to the tank. You won't find a better forum for the 928. A good weekend read would be the owners manual. Andrew doesn't have the 82, but he does have the 83 here:

The Euro cars have a controller to move the headlights up or down to adjust for road conditions or passenger load...a very cool and unique feature

You might want to contact Depami...here on Rennlist...I think he is near Cleveland...

Lots of cool aspects to this 82 Euro....300 hp potential...

Except for the fuel line issues...( carry a Halon Fire Ex with you)

I would say, drive it...enjoy it...store it at a friends house......

Sorry....turns out he's in Cleveland, Minnesota.....my bad

Gotta be a 928 guy or two near the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame......!!!!!

You need to go to this post and grab the owners manual...

https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...al-online.html

The 1983 Euro 928S is the same as your car, so will be accurate (euro 928S with k-jet was 80-83).

Fluids:

Brake fluid - Super DOT4 (reservoir is shared with clutch)
Engine oil - 9 quarts of 20W50 with good ZDDP - or Mobil 1 15W50 from walmart if they have it (other weights of Mobil 1 don't have the ZDDP tho')
Gearbox - 5 quarts of 75W90 API GL5 oil - check the fill plug can be undone before opening the two drain plugs!
PS reservoir - Dex III (or higher) ATF (reservoir is front left of the car - left defined by "as from driver's point of view"). There's a filter built into the reservoir - but as a first step I'd use a turkey baster to empty the reservoir and refill it, then run car and repeat. If you change the wife's mind on keeping it, then buy a new reservoir (sub-$20).

Plastidip is a good idea given its already flat and primered.. might change the wife's opinion too on the car, if it looks a little less road-warrior-ish

First find out why she doesn't like it.. has she driven it yet?
