Default Rear upper control arm possibly installed wrong at factory?

Rear upper control arm possibly installed wrong at factory, if not then it has been like this for a very, very long time.

This is on a customers 91 S4

Thoughts?
I would say that the cross member is going to be ok, but the control arm needs to be replaced.

I noticed this during a brake job, there were no customer noise complaints about a knocking noise.

I have a used A/T cross-member and rear control arm from an 86.5 I would love to get rid of. Let me know if you want them. I want them gone.

Paul Hunt needs a lower, so we should be able to work something out.
