Question Chin Spoiler Install

Hi All,

Is there a tutorial/instructions that anyone has built on how to get this done effectively? Having a hell of a time getting it back together.

Thanks,

Dan

Your sig shows 2 diffrent cars, so I will assume it is the '85 your asking about. I just put on a new spoiler on one of my '86.5's and let the spoiler sit in sun for about 1/2 hour to make it a bit more flexible. I then did passengerside first then driver. It was still a tight fit on the upper part, but it will fit. The one real tough part was the nut on lower driver side. Getting both a washer and nut on was a real pain. Leave all nuts loose until all have been started. Hope this helps some.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry I didn't specify, it's for my 87 S4.

Thanks!

Often the folded sheet metal spoiler support on the front radiator core support is bent and tweaked making installation very problematic.... Did you take it off or are you trying to replace a missing spoiler ?
