Question to Han's Sharkwoofer & door speaker buyers
I bought the Sharkwoofer and door speakers from Hans and I'm wondering if other buyers are using the old 6.5" speakers in the B-pillar? On Tuesday, I'm having the warped rear panels straightened. I'm going to remove the 4" rear speakers and wondered if I should remove the 6.5" speakers before the panels are recovered in black vinyl. The Kenwood XR-5S 5 channel amp will drive the speakers in my 87 928 S4. Thanks for your comments.

The rear seat drivers?
I put in my own rear drivers that I had from a competition setup I had back in the early 2000s.
I used the mounting ring of the OEM speakers, and mounted mine within that ring.
I spot welded a finger of metal from the mount ring, to hang the tweeter of the MB Quart pair (QM160's) over the middle of the main driver...sorry I dont have photos of that. I can try to find them however.
But..no way, keep the rear seat drivers.
Dump the back 1/4 window ones, they're crap for imaging...literally too far away.
I put felt under the hole of the panel, then generic speaker covers over the holes..but theres nothing there.

I agree, I will be using my B-pillar speakers still when I hook up my SF and door speakers that I have sitting in boxes right now. That and a new "PORSCHE" Becker head unit are all going in the '95! Gonna look MUCH, MUCH better and I hope SOUND much better as well!
