Ready to put things back in WSM talks about a balanced unit and marking it when disassemble. I have a new pressure plate an is there a way to ID the heavy side in relationship to the central plate. I know the clutch plates have yellow paint and to set the 180 Degrees from each other.
Any other things to look for before it goes back in?

Best to take it all and get it balanced as one unit.

Good luck finding a place that can do that.

I took the flywheel, pressure plate, intermediate plate and got them balanced, why is that hard?

There was not a single place in Atlanta that I could find to do it, we had to find a 928 crank, zero balance it and then do each part by it self. $$$$$$
A single disk might not be a big deal, but a dual disk is a lot harder to do.
IIRC even Greg Brown did not know where to have it done.
the folks that rebuild the clutches for NAPA could not do it, so that tells me something.

Alignment pins how far into the flywheel should they go?

I need to set the intermediate plate any good pictures or instructions on this?
