^^^ +1. I almost killed myself with a '72 VW Beetle as a first car. Dunno, maybe they don't like the kid... be sure to take out a BIG life insurance policy on him first...

"I thought many chimed in who had the same thoughts I'd express, but last night, a family in a city near me learned the hard way: Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Alpharetta Teen Ferrari Driver"

When I read the article this morning, my first thought was to add the info to this thread. For those who haven't read the article, a family gave their eighteen-year-old a Ferrari F340. A week later, someone reported a "brush fire" - the brush fire was the Ferrari way out in the weeds. Driver and friend severely burned, and you couldn't even tell that the Ferrari was a vehicle.

Don't worry, when I'm done with this Mustang V6 it won't have much HP at all.

It's got a Procharger on it and it's only putting down 260hp boosted.

Good point.

Today's Chrysler minivan probably has more power.

It doesn't require power to take any turn too fast and wreck.

Pretty sure you can get a bolt in model from autopower for less than $300. Certainly much cheaper than a 928 or 944.
I agree, my wife had a '94 v6 Mustang Convertible - after swapping the engine, cams, intake, etc, it makes more hp than a '94 Cobra, and still slower than a 928.
