1995 GTS - Black / Tan - 96,100 miles - sold for $20,193
In the U.K.:

I found the GTS in the September issue of "Sports Car Market" that had this to say about it:
"Straight and tidy, no rot and good paint, lightly creased leather in clean interior. Alloys have been refurbished, good service history showing cam-belts have been changed recently. Condition: 2
Pretty strong money when old smoker can be had for $2,500, but it is a nice example of one of the most desirable 928s. Fair deal both ways"
This looks like it could have been a great deal on a '93:

Non-US cars don't have the dated build plate on the door jamb - thats a US Federal DOT requirement, and its only relatively recently, courtesy of the internet, that the majority of non-US 928 owners have been educated as to the model year changes and VIN letter designations.
Thus there are plenty of 1992 and a few 1993 S4's out there, as by that late in the 928's production run, they weren't exactly selling like hotcakes, and there were plenty of S4's unsold after the GTS was introduced in 1992.
From memory, there is even a 928S in the UK which was first registered after 2000 - a car found unsold in dealership storage.
As for the price on the 1995 - thats pretty much par for the course in the UK. You also find a fair few LHD cars coming up for sale there which were brought over from Europe.. and they fetch even less
Here's another 1994 auto asking $US21000, and a '93 5-speed GTS asking $24000. Both have been for sale for over a month and probably won't get what they're asking.

The 95 GTS look like it has the sunroof delete option. Hard to be perfectly sure because the pic quality is not that good, neither is the angle of the shot.

Pictures seem to never get an angle that allows more than a guess, unless the light just happens to outline the sunroof. Sometimes its easier to look at the switches on the console.

Yesterday I just picked up a Polar Silver, rubbing strips delete, ruffled leather grey sports seats, 5 spd 1993 MY GTS with 130k miles (full engine rebuilt including pistons 15k miles ago) for $18k... One of the original Porsche UK press cars and only one owner since then. Everything except the boot release works and overall is an 8 out of 10 car...
If you want to sell a car, you have to present it well... This one was not, hence the good price. And no, I don't care that it has 1R rods... :P
