Smile Just purchased my first 928

After searching for just the right vehicle for 4 months, I found it - or rather Michael Willhoit found it for me. I purchased my 911 from Michael and although his prices are not bargains, I have been extremely impressed with his service and the quality of his vehicles (I have two co-workers that have also purchased vehicles from him). I have not taken delivery yet, but the deal is done. Following a clean PPI earlier this week, Michael had the full detail started today - the pictures attached are while the car is being detailed.

She is a 1994 (early build) GTS with just 50K on the odometer. An Automatic with Cashmere interior and not many options - just rear AC and CD changer. None the less, I have wanted a 928 since I was 12 years old and now the dream has come true. Thanks to everyone here for all of the great information that has helped me learn more about these vehicles prior to purchase. As an added bonus, Greg Brown's shop is not far from my home and I plan to have him maintain/improve her.

She should be arriving in the next week - until then, there will be some sleepless nights.

Congratulations! You did what the purists on here always say to do - buy the best example that you can afford...

Should be a beautiful car, and you have picked one of the best places in the world to have it maintained/improved!

No pix with the wheels on yet - just know they are the Cup 1's you can see reflected in a couple of the pictures...

Welcome! Great car. Now replace all fuel lines and read up on Thrust Bearing Failure (TBF) before installing a Super Clamp to keep from destroying your engine. The GTS autos are especially prone to this. Simple fix.

I cannot stress more highly the requirement to replace all fuel lines. Greg Brown manufactures super strong, long lived, replacements. Seems about every 4 months there is a new 928 owner who foregoes this step only to post a few weeks later pics of a burned carcass of a car. The TBF and fuel line issues are well chronicled here. The fix/insurance is easily effected. Do it.

MW finds and sells some incredible cars.

Very nice car.
Congradulations.
Michael only sells top notch cars and this is no exeption.
And with Greg Brown, your car will be in great hands.

Enjoy this beautiful car as mutch as you can and don't forget to post some photos when you'll get it.

That sounds and looks like a fantastic purchase. Beautiful - but look forward to seeing pics with wheels.
