Remove the old seal using a screw driver, on the passenger side is a recess which allows prying the seal away from the side. Clean the block and crank snout with brake cleaner.
Then you'll need a driver for the new seal. Make one from a piece of pvc pipe of the same diameter as the outside of the crank seal. Put a cap on it and you have a driver.
Lube the seal on the inside and carefully set it on the crank snout until it grips inside the block. Use the driver and a rubber hammer to drive the seal carefully in. Make sure the seal goes in straight. When the face of the seal is flush with the block, or a tiny bit deeper, the seal is in place.

Oh . . . not much . . . .
Caps
Timing belt covers
All the belts
PS Pump
Harmonic Balancer
Timing Belt
Radiator Hoses
Radiator (to actually have some room)
Fans.
Flywheel Lock
Spark Plug Wires up and out of way off water pump makes it easier.
Workshop Manual of course will tell you all this. Or, you could look at Dwayne's write up on doing a TB and WP job and you'll get 99% of it. Just won't have the front seal replacement listed out.
You'll probably want to time the engine when you are done so a PKVR32 tool would be nice to have and a bumpstick for timing.
Take about half hour tops . . . once you get all of that stuff done and the other things I forgot. Figure a solid Saturday to do it . . .. barring broken bolts, damage to any of said items. Might as well do the timing belt and water pump if you are going to go this far.
