Intake Colonoscopy;

Since I have over 3000 plus miles on my newly installed Provent HKR3 vent system it was time to do a physical test to see if I am no longer ingesting oil into my intake.

As you can see from the pictures I rigged a rag at the end (to show how the shaft moves and scrubs the bottom of the TB body) of a flexible shaft that got inserted in to the intake after manually opening the throttle body valve.

In the pictures I used an extra TB that I have on hand the actual test ws done on the TB while installed under the intake on the motor (Picture #4)

I’m pleased with the results of zero oil in the intake as shown by the removed rag.

Fantastic news Herman. Looks like you have found the solution to a major problem, especially with the GTS series. What was you oil consumption during the 3000 miles? Did you see an increase in MPG? With less oil injestion you certainly should see fewer knocks.
