what to do what to do.
So Brian sent me a txt in science class, and yes it's ok to txt a cop during class. Anyway as many of you know my car has lots and lots to do as of work to make it really nice, let alone my dads wallet, but Brian brought up a good point, save the money and make a street/ racer, no engine mods just gut it a little bit(most stuff needs to go anyway) and put a roll bar but not full cage, and use the auto on the track and street, the fact the auto would give me more time for the lines and breaking points, my mama wants me to make it decked out nice and spend all this money but I'd rather out it to suspension and safety parts, if you agree give me some good arguing tips (mama isn't all for me on track but she dose trust me and my dad is nutral with it) thanks guys

Again, why are you not trying to get the car to run like it did from the factory?

87 black and tan is a nice combo. You would have more fun on the track in a Miata : Cheap to crash and fun to drive on auto-x and DE days. Fix the 928, don't ruin it. -it makes a nice street euro-gt car.
If you're really determined to track a 928 get a 16v car from craigslist or somewhere - Way cheaper sheet-metal and other parts..

I would leave the interior in, unless you are strictly using it for track. What if you want to give ride to your girlfriends, I don't think they would like the sight of a gutted interior no matter what the car is. Buy a beat up Euro S and gut that one for track use, make the S4 nice cosmetically and mechanically, you will love it.

At 16 you should moth-ball this car and get a 944 or Bmw e30 to learn some things with. You can have fun, build a cool car, learn by trial and error with something that spare parts are easy to find for. 928's S4s, GTs, and GTSes) are expensive even for people that can 'do' most things. Not a good starter car unless you have a serious can-do attitude and some reasonably deep pockets (or crap attitude and really deep pockets). And whatever the '**** ton' of work is that you need to do is going to have to be done (plus more) to track a car. (Crap interior is not really a good reason to track a 928). But hey have fun its your car..

The feeling I would have got if I was able to have a 928 S4 in high school would be equal to banging the entire cheer leading squad before the football crew got them. There is no drug that could have got me high enough to get me where I would have been in 1989 that would compare to having an S4 in those years. ****, it wasn't until I was 37 that I realized that the tingle I had in my loins at 18 could be in my reach.
On that note. Dude, quit trying to get the damn car modified and get to to run like it did from the factory. I know you are gunho but you will never know what the car was until you get it like it is designed to be. Then improve on it. Learn the car, let it teach you and build a bond.
I envy my daughter, I was given two choices on her first car. An Audi R8 with the Lambo V10 or a 1978 Porsche 928 that is **** *** ugly, Lime green. Guess what she is getting and is pissed that it's not here yet. She is 15 and no, you are not getting pictures.
