Phooey! No start

that vac temp switch could not have caused a no start..... mine was never hooked up. lines capped.... hummmmmm your magic did rub off on something!

It's weird. That thing has caused no starts for me in the past when the line came loose while putting in a new heater valve at the rear of the engine. I bonked it out of place w the AFM. Couldn't figure it out til a friend put a pair of eyes on it. Plugged the line back in and it fired up then too. Oh well-it's running and that's what matters.

From your earlier post #8:

"Both fuel pump regulator vac lines smell gassy, as does the dampner vac line."

You need to recheck these lines - a leaking diaphragm on one or more of these units will cause problems, and calls for replacement.
