Hmm, we'll have to see what the weather is like that weekend... It's a good hike. After all if we here make Hershey or philly a day trip, we should be able to do this!

Going to try to make it this year, weather does not look too bad. Will you be entering your car to be judged? What is the general format of the afternoon.

I'm the event Co-Chair, so I'm ineligible to be judged. At our first show in 2010, the other Co-Chair won best in show, and, although our judges are completely unbiased, it left too much for wrong perceptions. We have also since added peoples choice awards as well.
If you go to the PCA-FSR website and click on the Air & Auto logo, you'll get all the details: www.fsrpcsa.org
Entry is $25 per car, or you can come to the show as a non-judged participant for $15. If you just want to come check it out as a spectator, it's $10 per car. All types get you entry to the museum for everyone in the car (normally $10 per person).
As for the schedule, the gate opens at 9:00, with the show starting at 11:00. We'd like to have all judged cars on the field by 12:00. Judging closes at 2:30, awards at 3:00. We have a bunch of raffle items and a 50/50 raffle, which will be drawn at several times during the day. We have a live band playing throughout the day. Zook's BBQ will be selling their local chow and we'll have wine and beer available. OBX Bi-Planes will be selling rides in their Waco - pretty cool if you've never been in an open cockpit plane. We also have a motorcycle piece to the show run by a local shop, various local vendors, etc. We've sprung for a couple of the museum planes to fly around a bit to lend more to the "Air" part of "Air & Auto". Then there's the museum and its superb collection of WWI/WWII aircraft and related historical stuff - also a nice place to warm up if required.
It's a nice, family style event with enough going on for folks not to get bored just looking at cars.
Most importantly, ALL proceeds from the show go to the Va Beach SPCA and the Foodbank of Southeastern VA. We have some great sponsorship this year, so the expenses are pretty much covered.
