Greensboro NC meet - Sunday 26th
The weather forecast looks great as of now. Anyone up for a simple show-up and hang-out at the Whole Foods parking area around 10 AM?
Lets see if there is interest and if we get a quorum we'll meet.

Dang, last day before school starts, so the kids want to go to the lake...
oh, and mine does not run yet either...but I would have liked to come....don't give up on it...I think it would be great to have some local gatherings....

If it were Saturday there would be other commitments and Sunday is usually the least busy time there, for obvious reasons. Personally I am flexible.
There are 45 NC 928's on RL, if we can't get 5 to show on the best forecasted weather week-end that I can recall at an easy to get to, central, and pleasant location, it doesn't bode well for meets. I like low pressure things, this is not somebody's house, it is not a "show", just a hang-out, do what you want thing. With all the real-life making it's way on to the board lately, I would think people would want to live a little and not let year after year go by w/o doing interesting things.
I would say if we can't get 5 people to say they are going consider it not happening, IOW don't take the drive and be disappointed if no 928's are there.

The location is so good because it has the large covered table area outside. That's the whole point -- show up when it isn't too crowded - Sunday -- park the cars where you can see them from the patio. Grab a donut, sit and talk 928's or whatever. I would also like other types of cars there.
The open parking lot meets where everyone awkwardly shuffles around is not what this is. (though my euro is in great shape I would be showing up on 2 wheels)
